Feb 19, 2018

The top local stories this evening from KERA News:

Other stories this evening:

  • Weight Watchers, Paleo, Whole 30 and other diets. There's no shortage of them in America. Food writer Michael Pollan argues, though, these diets are just distractions. Today on Think, he talked with Krys Boyd about how Americans should think about food.
  • Pick something you like about theater and chances are, there’s a theater festival for it. New works, plays by women, plays by solo artists, seven plays in seven days. As the season for theater festivals heats up, KERA’s Shelley Kenneavy looks at why theater companies dive deep into these themes and how they try to convince audiences to jump in, too.
