Study: Drivers In 9 North Texas Cities Are The Worst In Texas

The Dallas Fort-Worth area did not fare well in Allstate Insurance Company's tally of safety records in 200 cities. The study spans two years, culling the weighted average of data from wrecks that produced property damage claims. Garland drivers, for instance, were found to be 50 percent more dangerous than the national average. The city's police spokesman Joe Harn told the 'Dallas Morning News' the study wasn't fair, as Allstate covers 10 percent of drivers in the U.S.
