It’s been called masterful, beautiful and stunning.
Have you seen “Dallas From Above,” the 4-minute video that features Big D from a unique vantage point? Filmmaker Brian Aiken used a drone – a DJI Phantom “unmanned aerial system” -- to film high above Dallas. It showcases Klyde Warren Park, the Dallas Arts District, the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge – and some Dallas traffic (of course).
But the video also features things that might not come to mind when we think about Dallas, including bicyclists on trails, teens playing basketball and kids sliding down a sculpture.

Aiken’s film seems like a great promotional video to show off Dallas.
Speaking of promotional videos, the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau has its own video that sells Dallas – it just posted this online earlier this month.

So it’s the battle of the videos. Which one does a better job of telling Dallas’ story?
