Voter Registration Deadline Is October 5

Dallas, TX –

If you plan to vote in the November 3 election, the last day to register is Monday, October 5.

In addition to local races and issues there are eleven proposed state Constitutional amendments on the ballot.

Among the amendments is a proposition which would create a national research university fund to help establish more Tier 1 universities in Texas.

Other propositions would give more assistance to veterans and place restrictions on the state's use of eminent domain.
