Dallas County has another human West Nile virus case, the third in as many days.

University Park officials say a teenage boy has been diagnosed with West Nile Fever, the less severe form of the mosquito-transmitted illness.  He lives in the 75225 zip code, the north-central portion of University Park.

Overnight, pesticide trucks sprayed all streets and alleys in the vicinity of the victim’s address.

The other cases announced this week were in Richardson and Grand Prairie. Tarrant and Denton Counties each report one human case of West Nile.
