Jun 14, 2016

The Turtle Creek Chorale performed a memorial concert called "Songs for Healing" at Cathedral of Hope in Dallas to remember the victims of Sunday's mass shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando.

The free community concert took place at the Cathedral of Hope, 5910 Cedar Spring Road in Dallas. The YouTube video was made private after the live stream broadcast on Tuesday, June 14.

A Year Ago: Friday Conversation With Cathedral Of Hope's Pastor

Neil Cazares-Thomas took over the pulpit a year ago at Cathedral of Hope, which bills itself as the nation's biggest LGBT church. The pastor talked about his plans and his background with KERA's Rick Holter in a Friday Conversation on June 12, 2015, which happened to be exactly one year before the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.

Cazares-Thomas will sit down with Holter again this Friday to talk about life after Orlando.
