Donald Trump will be in downtown Fort Worth today for a private fundraiser to help raise money for his presidential campaign. This will be Trump’s first Texas trip since formally claiming the Republican presidential nomination.
Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is expected to attend the Fort Worth fundraiser. He’ll also attend Trump’s private fundraiser later today in Austin and a public rally. There are no public events in Fort Worth during this visit.

Voters are deciding whether to raise property taxes to help hire more teachers and control rising class sizes in Frisco ISD. The district says student enrollment has grown about 60 percent since the 2009 school year.
