Fort Worth, TX – Fort Worth "T" buses rolled out controversial ads from an atheist group Monday.
The T's Joan Hunter says it was business as usual for bus riders, in spite of earlier protests by a group of pastors - calling for a bus boycott.
Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief is among those who oppose the "Good Without God" paid advertising from the Coalition of Reason.
He is requesting a joint meeting of the T and the City Council to talk about what he calls the "divisive ads."
The T's Joan Hunter says a religious ad goes up on one bus Tuesday. It says "Jesus is the Reason for the Season - Merry Christmas. Two more "religious" ads will hit T buses later this month.
