Dallas, TX –

Former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin comes to Plano today on a book-signing tour. Police officer Rick McDonald says they expect people to start lining up hours ahead of time at Legacy Books.

McDonald: We expecting crowds of at least two thousand. We'll have officers out there; extra officers there on the scene. They've already set up areas for spectators and media. There will be a short road closure. I believe that's gonna be when the dignitaries actually arrive. But that's just going to be for a short moment to get their vehicles inside that location.

That will happen around 11am. The book-signing is scheduled from 11 to 2, at the bookstore at Legacy Drive and the Toll Road.
