From The Newsroom: Why Texans Are Bad At Managing Their Money; Fort Worth Symphony Asks For Cuts

The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: The Fort Worth Symphony says it has issued its final offer and musicians will vote on it this week, but it’s not clear if they’ll accept it. 

The plan cuts musician pay by eight-and-a-half percent. Members say they took pay cuts five years ago and shouldn’t face more.

The median income for Texas is better than average, but credit scores in the Lone Star State are some of the worst in the country.

Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow’s crime spree cut through the American heartland during the Depression, piling up wanted posters and victims along the way. John Maggio, the director of a new documentary about the famous outlaws, told Krys Boyd that it wasn’t until their faces made the papers that their celebrity was cemented.
