The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom:Amber Vinson is now virus-free and returning home. Vinson spoke Tuesday at a press conference in Atlanta. She was transferred to Emory University Hospital on Oct. 15 after she tested positive for Ebola.

And Stonewall Jackson died 150 years ago on the losing end of the Civil War. The author of a new biography on Jackson explains an unusual motivational strategy the Confederate general developed.
