From The Newsroom: One Charge Against Perry Dropped, Town Divided On Muslim Cemetery

The top local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: 

A state appeals court Friday threw out one of two felony charges against former Texas Governor and current presidential candidate Rick Perry.

And the Collin County Islamic Association wants to build a 34-acre cemetery in Farmersville, an hour north of Dallas. That’s sparked pretty heated rhetoric from some locals who are trying to keep the Muslim cemetery out of the area.
