As of Tuesday, Texas has a new governor. Greg Abbott was sworn into office in Austin. He’s the state’s first new chief executive in 14 years. Texas also has a new lieutenant governor, Dan Patrick, who will oversee the state Senate.

We also look at the impact of the Texas DREAM Act.
