Local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: The Irving-based Boy Scouts of America is expected to end its blanket ban on gay adult leaders. Also, two North Texas-based airliners announced record earnings for the 2nd quarter.

Finally, "pot dabbing" may sound harmless, but this edition of Vital Signsexplains why the practice can be quite dangerous.

You can listen to North Texas stories weekdays at 8:20 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. on KERA 90.1 FM.
