Fort Worth Veterinarian Lou Tierce Indicted On Charges Including Animal Cruelty

Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's office.

A Fort Worth veterinarian accused of animal cruelty was indicted by a Tarrant County grand jury today.

Dr. Lou Tierce was indicted on one count of theft, a second count of misapplication of fiduciary property and a third count of animal cruelty. His Camp Bowie Animal Clinic was shut down earlier this year after it was discovered he was keeping a dog alive for blood transfusions, despite telling the owners the dog was euthanized.

He is currently free on $10,000 bond while he awaits trail. A court date has not been set. The Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners recently suspended his license for five years.
