Another Swine Flu Death & Nightly Roundup

Dallas, TX –

Dallas County is reporting another H1N1 flu death. Officials say a the 66 year old man did not have any underlying, hi-risk medical conditions. He is the 26th H1N1 death in Dallas County.

Health officials say even though flu activity levels are low, the public is urged to get the H1N1 vaccine.

Dallas And Hillary Clinton Sued By Officer's Family

The family of a Dallas police officer who died while escorting then-presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is suing her, the city of Dallas and the maker of the helmet he was wearing.

49 year old Senior Corporal Victor Lozada died in a motorcycle crash on the Houston Street Viaduct.

The lawsuit claims the city did not give Lozada proper training for escorting a motorcade. It also accuses Clinton and her campaign of not giving timely notice for motorcade assistance, and alleges the helmet was defective.

At City Hall, Frank Librio says the city has no comment.

Monday was the two year anniversary of the fatal motorcade accident.

Tyler Bank Employees To Prison

Two former Tyler bank employees are going to prison for embezzling money.

47 year old Lloyd Rock of Jacksonville, Texas was sentenced to 15 months in prison today, and ordered to repay 145 thousand dollars to the Bank of America in Tyler. Rock admitted he skimmed the money over the 12 years he worked as a teller.

In an unrelated case, 27 year old Amber Penner of Tyler got five months in prison and ordered to repay 80 thousand dollars prosecutors say she embezzled from Southside Bank. Penner was a teller for three years.
