Tim Rogers Steps Down As Editor Of 'D Magazine'
It's hard to keep a writer from, well, just writing. Even when they lead the staff of a major city's glossy. 'D' founder Wick Allison was able to keep Tim Rogers in the top editor's position since 2003, more or less. Now, Rogers will stay with the magazine and write exclusively once 'D' finds an editor.
Okay, seriously, if I stepped down to spend more time with my family, I think my family would go into hiding. I love my family too much to do that to them. Best I can tell, I have edited D Magazine longer than anyone else except Wick Allison, who has stepped into the role several times since he founded the thing in October 1974.
