Slain Dallas Woman Pleads With Attacker in 911 Call
The horrifying 911 call made by Deanna Cook has been released. WFAA obtained copies of the call she made the day she was killed. In that final call Cook never speaks to the operator directly, but can be heard begging her attacker not to hurt her.
DALLAS - Deanna Cook lived her life in fear of her ex-husband. In a 911 tape obtained by News 8, she can be heard saying, "I have a stalker." She was afraid that even calling police would get her killed, but she called again and again.
