For the first time in close to three months, residents in West can safely drink city water straight from the tap. A boil order had been in effect since the April 17 explosion at the West Fertilizer Company that killed 15 and injured 200.
WEST, Texas - Experts say it's now safe to drink water from all public supplies in a Central Texas town decimated nearly three months ago by a deadly fertilizer plant blast. City officials in West on Tuesday rescinded the public boil water notice.
