The top local stories this morning from KERA News: A Dallas City Council committee this morning will get an update on the city’s loose dog problem – and it’s promising.
Since Dallas Animal Services implemented changes suggested by Boston Consulting Group three months ago, impoundments have increased by 33 percent. There’s also been a 193 percent uptick in citations and an 18 percent increase in live release of animals though adoptions.
