Top Stories: Traffic Is A Mess This Morning, Thanks To A Spilled Load Of Chicken Parts

The top local stories this morning from KERA News: Traffic’s been tied up for hours along northbound I-35E thanks to a truck that lost its load of chicken parts.

According to multiple media outlets, the debris caused multiple wrecks, including two 18-wheelers. Authorities are still searching for the truck that left the mess behind.

Other stories this morning:

  • A new program in Dallas for those caught with less than four ounce of marijuana was supposed to go into effect next month. That’s now uncertain because Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price opposes it.
  • Operating room technology continues to evolve, so the schools training surgical techs must keep up.
