Other stories this afternoon:

  • The Cowboys hope to extend their nine-game winning streak tomorrow when they host Washington for the annual Thanksgiving Day game. Joe Buck will call the action on Fox, and he says he’s as surprised as anyone about just how good the Cowboys have been with rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.
  • The next legislative session doesn’t start until January, but the battle lines are being drawn. One issue sure to be contentious: lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights. Lawmakers have introduced a number of bills – some intended to help LGBT folks, others that would strip protections and reverse recent gains. KERA’s Christopher Connelly takes a look.
