The resident wasn't expecting a delivery, and told officers the package appeared to be from outside the United States. Irving's bomb squad later declared the package safe.
Police officials say if you receive a package not ordered by anyone at your home, do not touch it and call 911. The same for packages not addressed to you and that have no return address.
