Early results show voters are poised to approve all eight amendments, including one proposal barring the state from limiting religious services.

The top local stories this morning from KERA News:

North Texas voters weighed in on a number of local issues in Saturday's elections.

In Garland, residents elected its second-ever female mayor. Dallas ISD school board member Bernadette Nutall and challenger Justin Henry will head to a runoff in June for the District 9 seat.

In Tarrant County, voters approved a $250 million bond package for the proposed Panther Island river walk project near downtown Fort Worth.
