- In March 2011, gunmen from the Zetas cartel swept through the Mexican town of Allende, kidnapping and killing scores of men, women and children. The massacre was sparked when the Zetas discovered one of their members was working with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and wanted revenge. Ginger Thompson wrote about the leak that led to the killings for ProPublica. Today on Think, she told Lauren Silverman there has yet to be an investigation into what happened in Allende and the DEA's involvement.
