Top Stories: New Dallas Zoo Elephants Create A Stir; Ethan Couch Gets Jail Time

The top local stories this afternoon from KERA News: The Dallas Zoo welcomed five new elephants last month as part of an import from Swaziland. Now, they are ready for their debut, and the import has outraged animal rights activists. 

Ethan Couch, the "affluenza" teen, is going to spend nearly two more years in jail. That’s what a judge ordered Wednesday morning in a Tarrant County courtroom.
