Top Stories: Crews To Survey Grayson County Damage; The Gender Gap In Medical Research

Several school districts in Grayson County are closed due to storm damage.

The top local stories this morning from KERA News: National Weather Service crews are out in Grayson county this morning to survey damage.

Meteorologists estimate last night’s storms may have produced up to three tornadoes there. The Grayson County Office of Emergency Management reported five injuries so far from the storm.

There were also 60 mph winds reported in Parker County, and reports of golf-ball sized hail in the town of Myra, located in Cooke County.
