There was a general sense of celebration among state officials as the U.S. Census Bureau said the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area-for the second year in a row- leads the nation in population growth. Austin, San Antonio and Houston also ranked among the top ten. But what's behind the numbers? KERA's Shelley Kofler talked to Dr Karl Eschbach, the director of the state data center and asked- is this rapid growth good?
