From The Newsroom: Triple-Negative Breast Cancer And The African-American Community

In today's All Things Considered local block from the KERA Newsroom: 

The connection between the African American community and aggressive, late-stage cancer is troubling. So North Texas survivors lean on each other, and fight to change the odds.

And in the wake of the Texas GOP convention in Fort Worth, the party takes language about a guest worker program off the state Republican Party platform.

Courtney Collins has been working as a broadcast journalist since graduating from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2004.
