From The Newsroom: A Second Round For Michael Hinojosa; Fantasy Gifts From 'The Book'

The top local stories this morning from the KERA Newsroom: Michael Hinojosa is officially the superintendent of Dallas schools. Last night, the school board formally approved his contract.

Also, more minorities are applying to medical school – except for African-American men. Last year, fewer African-American men applied to medical school than in 1978.
