The American Freedom Defense Initiative was hosting a contest in Garland on Sunday that would award $10,000 for the best cartoon depicting the Prophet Muhammad.

Texas Health Resources has set up a memorial fund in Thomas Eric Duncan’s name to train doctors and nurses in Liberia. Duncan became the first person to die of Ebola in the U.S.
