Local stories this evening from the KERA Newsroom: The deadline is approaching for the new evaluation system the Dallas school district has put in place for teachers. Also, Dr. Kent Brantly talks about how hospitals can ease the stigma of healthcare workers who help fight Ebola in West Africa. 

Dianna Douglas sits in on a class assignment, where high schoolers tell the dramatic stories of their immigrant parents. Finally, Doualy Xaykaothao reports on the bag ordinance that will go into effect next month in Dallas.
