Dallas County election officials and the Department of Public Safety are making Election Identification Certificates available to voters who will need photo ID to vote Nov. 5. The election will be the first under the state's new Voter ID law.
Those who don't have a photo ID, like a driver's license, can get set up with an election ID from the Department of Public Safety at no cost. Here's a list of places to do this.
