It's Time Again For the Great Texas Warrant Roundup
If you have not paid that traffic ticket or minor citation, now may be the best time to take care of it. North Texas police are getting ready to arrest you.
- The KERA radio story
It’s time once again for the annual Great Texas Warrant Roundup. Later this morning, Dallas Police will announce they’ll be arresting those with unsettled Class C offenses. That means unpaid traffic tickets and non traffic citations. Police across North Texas will participate. In Dallas, officials say offenders with unpaid outstanding city warrants can have their vehicle registration renewals put on hold. Dallas Police can also arrest or jail you. Dallas residents with outstanding citations - people also known as scofflaws - can pay downtown or online.
