Freezing Rain Advisory For Parts Of North Texas, Including Collin, Denton Counties

A freezing rain advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Tuesday for counties north and west of Dallas-Fort Worth.

Another day, another winter weather advisory.

A freezing rain advisory is in effect through 6 p.m. Tuesday for areas north and west of Dallas-Fort Worth.

This includes Collin and Denton counties, as well as several counties to the west, including Parker and Wise counties, as well as counties to the north along the Texas-Oklahoma border, including Grayson County.

Freezing drizzle and icy conditions are possible north and west of Dallas-Fort Worth – north of a line from Eastland to Weatherford to McKinney. Sleet and snow are possible Monday night and into Tuesday.

A light wintry mix of precipitation is possible Tuesday. Little accumulation is expected in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Temperatures should climb into the mid to upper 30s across North Texas.
