Dallas County Announces Second Human West Nile Infection Of The Summer

Dallas County Health and Human Services announced the second human West Nile virus case in Dallas County for the 2013 season. This time, it is the more serious version of the virus, West Nile Neuroinvasive Disease. 

Just yesterday, Dallas County Health and Human Services announced the first human West Nile virus case in Dallas County for the 2013 season. That person, a resident of Richardson, has West Nile Fever -- the less severe form of the mosquito-transmitted illness. Now, a second person, of Grand Prairie, has been diagnosed with West Nile Neuroinvasive Disease.
