Look closely at the neck of the Fort Worth Zoo's baby giraffe and you'll see the spot shaped like a heart.

A new resident of the Fort Worth Zoo has a big heart and it's on her neck. The giraffe born Jan. 11 has drawn attention, with Saturday being Valentine's Day, for a particular marking.

Zoo spokeswoman Alexis Wilson said Wednesday that the animal, which has yet to be named, has a prominent heart shaped-spot on her lower neck. Officials weren't aware of the spot until recent images by a zoo photographer showed the marking.

Wilson says the giraffe at birth was 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighed 132 pounds. Wilson says the young giraffe went on public exhibit last week, is doing well and starting to venture farther away from her mother in the yard.

TheFort Worth Zoo now has seven giraffes.
