American Airlines, US Airways Move Closer To Becoming One

Five stories that have North Texas talking: Talks wind down in the potential American Airlines/US Airways merger,  Cowboys Stadium will host Chris Kyle's funeral, big rigs can't get a break and more.

A long-awaited merger between Fort Worth-based American Airlines and US Airways that would produce the  world's biggest airline may be upon us. The Wall Street Journal reported this morning [subscription] that AMR Corp.'s talks with US Airways Group are winding down. We could hear about the merger as soon as Monday, according to the WSJ.
