American Airlines, US Airways Move Closer To Becoming One

A long-awaited merger between Fort Worth-based American Airlines and US Airways that would produce the  world's biggest airline may be upon us. The Wall Street Journal reported this morning [subscription] that AMR Corp.'s talks with US Airways Group are winding down. We could hear about the merger as soon as Monday, according to the WSJ.

  • A funeral for fallen Navy Seal Chris Kyle will take place at Cowboys Stadium on Monday. It'll be open to the public, which is the point. Kyle, 38, was shot and killed on Saturday at an Erath County gun range. [WFAA]
