Dallas, TX – GOP officials are already saying this fall's Dallas County Sheriff's race will be among the hottest regional races in Texas. That's why Tuesday's runoff between Republicans Lowell Cannaday and former Dallas County Sheriff Jim Bowles is being so closely watched. Both men say they're the best person to beat incumbent Democrat Lupe Valdez. KERA's Bill Zeeble reports on the runoff.
